Hazelnut is a fruit consisting of a hard shell with a kernel inside it that is edible and hazelnut oil is produced from shelled and cold pressed hazelnuts. This particular oil is pale yellow colored and has a clear, nutty smell. It is one of the most highly unsaturated vegetable oils, full of several nutrition. It’s loaded with proteins, vitamins and essential fatty acids (mainly linoleic acid) and phytosterols (mainly β-Sitosterol) that help protect skin against sun damage and boost collagen production.
