Pistachio oil is an oily liquid extracted from the pistachio nut. It has a deep green color, a characteristic flavor which is very potent and a strong scent that can be extracted with different methods. The most common extraction method is the pressure method. The oil is extracted by pressing in a hydraulic press which is lightly filtered.
